I have collected a fair amount of information on this line while researching it for my sister-in-law. Her grandfather was Luther Edmund Dorrier b. 5/1/1883 Hancock MD son of William Henry Dorrier (1849-1933) and Cornelia Hamner b.Oct. 1852. William appears to be the son of Henry and Mina Dorrier from Brunswick Germany. The 1870 Census for Fulton Co. PA Union Twp. p. 6 lists:
Dorrier,Henry 61
Mina 58
August 24
William 20
The 1900 Census for Slate River Twp. Buckingham Co.Va lists William's year of immigration as 1867. He was still living in 1930 age 80.
