Richard,
Thank You. I had no Idea how to spell Burter, acording to my mother he lived With John Thomas & his second Wife. Then Moved to the Memphis area and lived on an Island in the Mississiooi River. The Last time my Grandmother saw him was in the early 1940's.
I started surching for Luther, was it possible that Luther was his Middle Name.
I have just started to work on the Mississippi Dorrough family, I realized it needed some work.
I am John Thomas Dorroughs ggrandson, on his second wifes side.
I will let you know when I have some things complete.
