Can you tell me where you learned that John Dockery
(1804 - 1883) was raised by the Solomon Dorset family?

I am doing research on another John Dockery lineage, but
some of the information I have found posted on the Internet seems to identify both men as the same individual.
I am needing to separate out information on the two John Dockery men.

I have found the Dorset (Dorsett) lineage in both, Chatham County and Burke County North Carolina. Also, Solomon Dorset (Dorsett) married Elizabeth Bradburn which might link the two families since John Dockery (1804 - 1883) married Mary Bradburn (1810 - 1890). There are a number
of Dorset (Dorsett) family members buried in Loves Creek Baptist Church cemetery in Siler City, Chatham County, North Carolina.

Any information that might help solve my inquiry will be
appreciated.
