This book is about many families, and yes I mean royalty, not a family with the name of Royal. There is a great deal of information on the Gist families but, these Gist families are Howard / Gist lines and the Dorseys also have a connection to the Howards. You may be surprised at how some of these folks tie together. I was! The McNeil families from Canada,Barra,Argyll, and the North Carolina Colonies do have a large portion. We must not forget the original ties for these families and how they intertwine with other families in America. I have history of these, families and how they got here across the pond and charts going very far back. I welcome your input, as I know this is a work that many people will have comments about. I have done my best to research and present my finding, theories and hope that with future feedback we will solve many mysteries. I am sure the Dorsey's that are related to Howards, will get a lot out of this... NO this is not a book of names, census records, and old photos, even though I have a good deal on certain, Gist related families broken down, I have gone into the history and brought to view some of these connections that may not have been viewed in this light. MOST OF ALL.. I have the answers to many unanswered questions from the Dorsey's book " Christopher Gist of Maryland and some of his descendents" based on DNA evidence I can tell you how these folks connect.. Enjoy reading the whole thing as it is not on just one family. Thanks for your comments.
