I decided to add more for anyone else interested in this line. According to my records, Rachel Elizabeth Doshier was b. 16 Jul 1857 in AR--altho her cemetery stone shows 1859--the problem is, I don't have my source recorded! He was daughter of Harrison Doshier and I have Rebecca Roons--is the name really Rhoads? Harrison Doshier, b. 1 May 1830, IN, d. 16 Feb. 1907, Laclede Co. MO, md. 8 Jul 1858 to Rebecca--so if the 1857 date was correct, Rachel would be dau of another marriage. Harrison's parents: John and Rachel Spears Pain Doshier, son of Peter and Ally Pritchett Doshier. My gtgdfather Daniel Doshier was son of Richard Pritchett Doshier, brother, as we suppose, of John. My father said his gddad Doshier always spoke of a Harrison Doshier--when telling of his earlier days--as a first cousin. I did find Harrison was in Sebastian Co. AR--where Daniel lived before coming to Lawrence Co. MO. I have much info on Doshiers but not a whole lot on Harrison. I do have his siblings if you would like that. I prefer to exchange via US mail so email me at email@example.com and give me your address. I have that Harrison md. Melinda A. Logan also. I see that he md. her 10 Aug. 1865, Sebastian Co. AR. Harrison served in union service, CW and rec'd a pension. I haven't found him in 1860 census but he is in 1870, 1880, Webster Co. MO, and 1900 in Jacks Co. TX.
