George Franklin Dossett, son of Andrew Jackson Dossett and Mary E. Reneer was born on 1869 in Gibson County, Indiana and died on ? Was married to Mary Elizabeth Seifers on October 18, 1894 in Princeton, Indiana Gibson County, daughter of Ota Seifers and Eliza Armstrong. Mary was born on January 25, 1879 and died on December 3, 1944.

They had the following five children:

1.) Ada Dossett, born on November 23, 1895 in Princeton, Indiana Gibson County and died between 1971-1975 in Michigan. Was married to Roy Wilbert Spears on May 23, 1914 in Terre Haute, Indiana Vigo County. Roy was born on November 19, 1890 and died on January 15, 1958. Ada was re married to Clyde McKinney in 1924.
2.) Bess Dossett, born on 1897 and died on January 13, 1956. Was married to Herschal Pershing and he died on 1972.
3.) Effie Blanche Dossett, born on January 15, 1900 in Princeton, Indiana Gibson County and died on April 13, 1977 in Terre Haute, Indiana Vigo County. Was married to Harley Glenn Spears on April 4, 1917 in Terre Haute, Indiana Vigo County. Harley was born on January 18, 1897 and died on November 11, 1970.
4.) Rufus Dossett, born on March 4, 1902 in Wisconsin and died on March 1974 in Muncie, Indiana Delaware County. Was married to Edyth Cambell.
5.) Ota Dossett, born on May 16, 1906 in Indiana and died on October 22, 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana Marion County. Was married to Grace Tatlock and she was born on August 14, 1909 and died on May 2, 1983.
