Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The response of Ola Cates was:

"These are the only notes I have - The Cates line is the line I'm researching - I have gotten infor from a number of places. If you aren't subscribing to the Kentucky email lists I suggest you do that. There are some wonderful genealogists in Webster and Hopkins Co. who helped me a lot.

"Marriage: Orange County Marriages from 1780-1750, CD-ROM 4, Banner Blue (source Tonya Leitschuh query 4/8/97 NCOrange (from Al Baumbach).

"1800 Orange Co, NC census: NA M32-34, PG 560 (alphabetical), Thomas Dossett 26-45, 3 males 1916, 1 female 26-45 and 5 females 0-10."

my guess is that the males 1916 is: males 19-26
