one of the children of William and Zilpha was Moses, born about 1804. Moses married Sarah Cody. Their first child was Edmond Dossett. One of Edmond's children was Hester Caroline. Three family group sheets have been submitted to the LDS' IGA. One gives the date of Hester's birth as May 19, 1861; one as May 19, 1871, and one as May 16, 1875. It is also reported that she married George Washington Leggett at Seminary, Covington County, Mississippi in 1893. Except for the first name of the husband, it seems more likely than not that this is your line. This is not my line, so you may want to follow up with other descendents of William and Zilpha who have postings to this genforum.
