I am descended from Samuel Solomon Dotterer through his daughter Catherine Elizabeth. Elizabeth married John Santee in Luzerne Co., PA. I believe she is the same Mrs. Santee who was buried from St. Stephen's Church in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Co., PA in 1831. That would be the year of birth of their eighth and last child...all girls.

I have the SANTEE line down from John and Elizabeth documented, all but 2 daughters. I did NOT refer to the SANTEE book, as they have my John Santee dead in 1855. He was still working in his lumber mill and writing receipts in 1856 (I have several in my possession), he was in the 1860 census living with one of his daughters and her family, and he was not buried in the City Cemetery until 19 Dec 1870.

I have a death certificate for one of the daughters which gives the mother as Elizabeth DUTTER, and a letter in my possession, which was translated to English, from John Wisenstein to John Santee which mentions Henry Dotter.

I am looking for PROOF of the death date of Elizabeth.
Thanks,
Patty
