Dotter, Samuel Solomon #22735 PA Line, applied 5 Aug 1833 Luzerne Co age 75, a resident of Newport Twp. Soldier lived at the Irish Settlement of Northampton Co at enlistment. Soldier was born in 1759 near Pottsgrove in Phila. Co (now Montgomery). Soldier mentions a brother Philip of Northampton Co. After the war soldier lived in Berks and Northampton Counties. In 1803 soldier moved to "Wilkes Barren" Twp in Luzerne Co., and in 1813 he moved to Newport Twp.
