I am looking for some information on a J.M.Doubleday who came from Arkansas in the 1870s to Kansas..He was the uncle of the Nelsons..I do not know if he was related to William D.Nelson or his wife Harriet..William and Harriet were married in Indiana...and seven of their childen were born there..
Oliver Nelson worked for his uncle when he was a teenager..but uncle Doubleday was not easy to work for..
J.M. came from Harrison Arkansas..and bought land 12 miles out of Caldwell Kansas..in Oct 0f 1878...
Anyone have any information on him?
Thanks..C.Olsen in Alaska.
