I searched for an answer to your question. I believed that the origins of the Acadian Doucettes was not firmly established but I wanted to make sure. What I found was your Pierre Doucet who married Marie Pagot or Pagaud was not relatedthe Acadians but came for Maurice, France to Louisiana.
