This is most interesting. Either, the Native-American haplotype result is incorrect, since it has been well established that Germain Doucet came from France, or maybe there was some other reality being covered up along the line. If the latter, then someone in the Doucet direct ancestry, as given, was not the real father of the subsequent generation's ancestor. Just a thought. Remember, DNA doesn't lie. Maybe too, one has confused these French-Acadian Doucets with those of Native-American ancestry, found in the Cape Breton area. In any event, it would be worth reverifying all the data presented especially since the other results of other tests indicate European ancestry.
