Hi Janet,
SW's Dictionary: "Pierre Doucet was born abt. 1621 (SW does not say where Pierre was born as he doesn't have proof), he was a mason and shows up in Port Royal censuses in 1671, 1678, 1686, 1693, 1698, 1700, 1701, 1703, & 1710.
In 1687, Pierre Doucet was among those who made their marks on an account of the works accomplished in Acadia by Sr d'Aulnay.
Aug. 1695 (old style): Pierre Doucet took the oath of allegiance to the King of England at Port Royal; he made his mark on the document.
Dec 2, 1705: Expropriation of a lot adjoining that (of the heirs) of Abraham Dugas and abutting the edge of the ditch of the old fort, which was "in discussion" among the Dame de Belisle, Pierre Doucet and Francois Robichaud".
