Charles H. Coburn, Stricken with Shock, Dies at Home in Saco

Charles H. Coburn, well known resident of Saco, died suddenly this noon at his home at the corner of Free and Common streets, that city. He was stricken with a shock at the office of the Saco street commissioner on Thornton avenue about 10.15 this forenoon. He was removed to his home, where he failed rapidly until about noon when he died. He age was about 70 years.

Mr. Coburn had been in the employ of the Saco street department for a number of years. He was formerly Sunday police officer at Camp Ellis.

For many years Mr. Coburn had been an active member of Shawakatoe Tribe of Red Men of Saco. He was much interested in the order and had occupied a number of offices in Shawakotoe Tribe.

He is survived by a wife, three sons and four daughters.

Announcement of the funeral will be made later.
