I have the Rev War Pensions on Stephen, Ichabod, James & Benjamin doughty. None actually name their father. My ancestor is Stephen. His grandson, stephen moved to Ohio. He was married to Nancy Gardner. In the records of morrow and Delaware counties of Ohio, it mentions Stephen moveing from Maine and his family being buried at Topsham, Maine on the family farm. This would be the farm bought by Stephen and Hannah Doughty. Eva Goeken found a record of David Doughty and sarah Gethcell's marriage. A letter is also mention(owned by a Robert Doughty) that says the Getchell family owns a gun used by Sarah's husband, David in the King Phillip War. The letter( I've seen a partial copy of it) mentions some of the children and that my ancestor, Stephen moved to Ohio.
