Seeking info on family of Benjamin DOUGHTY, born 1759 in New York City, died 1853 in Brown Co., OH.
He was married (probably a 2nd time circa 1790) to Euphemia ?, b. 1773 d. 1849. First wife unknown, possibly a Rachel mentioned in Freehold Church records.
He moved to Perry Twp., Brown County, OH about 1819, along with Richard and Mary (DOUGHTY) APPLEGATE. Mary was born circa 1780 in NJ and married Richard APPLEGATE at the Freehold Church in Cranbury, Middlesex Co., NJ, on 25 May 1798. She died in 1819 following childbirth of 6th child and son Benjamin D.
