The Custer County Historical society in Broken Bow has a very good obituary collection. You can get ggod clues in obituary's, but have to also watch for mistakes.You should check either on line on their site or write to them. If when posting information if you would give dates that also helps. I have a Doty family that lived there but the Doughty spelling was years ago in Maine. As Sandra said writing down everything from family members is important. Eva
