Daniel DOUGHTY d. 1805 after being poisoned with arsenic

I am researching my husband's ancestry. I would like to learn more about Laban OAKLEY and his daughter, Rachel (OAKLEY) DOUGHTY. In 1805, Laban, Rachel, and someone named John ANDREWS were accused of conspiracy in the murder of Rachel's husband, Daniel DOUGHTY. I've located an old 1805 article describing the crime (Poisoning with arsenic) as well as a proclamation by the governor of SC offering a $400 reward for Laban's capture. Apparently, Rachel and John were imprisoned.

Does anyone know more about these individuals? Any relevant documents? Photos?
