Looking for the family of Beverly Dowd
Posted by: Amy Massey (ID *****7562) Date: December 02, 2009 at 19:19:47

I am looking for my mothers paternal family. I am sorry, but I don't have a lot of information, but I will provide all I know.

Beverly Ann Dowd is my mother's maiden name. She died on January 1, 1992 in Barre, Vermont. She was married to Melvin Flood, and has 8 children (Wade, Thad, Wendy, Tonia, Amy, Andrew, Brody, Melissa). Her mother was Evelyn Tarbox. My mother was born in Meriden (not sure if it is spelled right), Connecticut in 1944 not sure of the month. I was told by my grandmother that her father lived in North Carolina. I do not know his first name but his last name was Dowd. I do not know anything about him. My mother did not know him as far as I know. His mother took care of my mom for the first years of her life while my grandmother lived in Florida. My mother was in contact with her paternal grandmother I believe until my brother Thad was born. After that I am not sure, because my mother never told me a lot about her family, as she died when I was 15.

If anyone has any information at all please email me. I would really like to know my family history for health reasons, and also just to know who my family is. Thank you.
