Searching for George and Mary Dowd who married sometime around 1888 and who lived in Cleveland in 1890 to 1893.
Their two children were born in Cleveland:
Mamie Dowd (b. 1890 +/-) and Alfred Dowd (b 1893 +/-).
George abandoned the children, according to court records, and Mary died (d. 1893)within a few months of giving birth to Alfred.
Mamie was adopted in 1895 and her name changed to Beaulah May Day.
Alfred was adopted in 1894 and his name changed to Alfred Dowd Kinschner - also spelled K-i-n-s-n-e-r.
