Catherine Dowd/Doud/Doude c1833 Co Galway

Looking for any information re Catherine and her parents. She travelled to Australia on the ship "Panama" arriving early 1850. Papers at the time state she was 17yo and came from Castle Hackett in Co Galway, although some other info suggests Tuam/Toom(e). Her parents are listed as Michael & Mary - both deceased at that time. There is a baptism record of a Catherine Doud in 1835 in Galway, but I can't find any records for Michael & Mary. Catherine worked for a year for a family called Evers or Evans in Phillip St Sydney, then married Richard Jackson and they moved further north to the Maitland area in New South Wales. They had 8 children - 6 of whom survived to adulthood. Many descendants of Richard & Catherine would appreciate any information on her and her parents.
