Tim says that the land records do belong to a branch of the same family, descended from Peter. The line apparently descends from Peter through

John Henry (ca. 1695/6, Barweiler, Rheinland-Pfalz - 1762, Berks Co., PA) who m. 1720, Anna Apollonia REIGEL (1699 - 1764).

John Adam (1722/5? VA? - 1806, Hardy Co., {W} VA) m. 9 Je. 1754, Host Ch., Womelsdorf, Berks, PA, Maria Barbara FISCHER, b. ca. 1735, Hardy Co., {W} VA.

Henry (1760, PA - 1818, Madison Twp., Jackson Co., OH) m. 1780, Greenbrier Co., (W) VA, Catherine BUZZARD (1761, near north fork of s. branch of the Potomac, Hardy Co., (W} VA - 20 July 1851, bu. French Cem., West Unity, Williams Co., OH), dau/o Henry BUZZARD & Eliz. A(U)LT.

Jesse (1796 - 1845/6, Jackson Co., OH) m. 17 Mar. 1816, Gallia Co., OH, Eliz. ARTHUR (1792/8 - 1843), d/o Joel ARTHUR & Nancy JENKINS.

Wilson (Sept. 1825/8?, OH - 1878, OH) m. Rosanna/Rosina/Rosa BOWMAN, b. ca. 1832. She was the one aged 48, b. Hesse, on the 1880 Census, Jefferson Twp., Williams Co., OH, as Rosa, widow, with Wm. H., Chas. V., Francis W., Marion E., Eunice R., & Angeline C.
On the SD Births site, I found that Charles Vinton RADABAUGH & Cora Ann WRIGHT had

Edna Anne, b. 8 Sept. 1894
Gladys Estelle, b. 7 July 1897 [must be BACKUS].
Charles, b. 3 May 1903. He filed for Social Security under the name Vinton. The cemetery record has C. Vinton, so take your pick of the correct name!

SSDI: Reno BACKUS (21 Mar. 1901 - July 1979, Cloquet, Carlton, MN) & Gladys E. (7 July 1897 - 15 Mar. 1970, Cloquet, Carlton, MN).

Can you identify the other daughter of Cora & Charles?

Cora's middle name was Ann on the birth records and Anna on the cemetery record. (I saw Alice online.)

I'll e-mail some of the correspondence between Tim & me.
