In the 1900 VA census, Lydia Virginia Dowdell ADAMS, was by then a widow, (Joseph died in 1885), and was living with her unmarried brother Charles DOWDELL, in Loudoun Co. VA. So her death date is not 1882 as I reported in previous message.
