Since I am looking for my Dowdell ancesters, I believe I've run across a Moses Dowdell from time to time. I looked in my notes and all I could find right now is something from a LDS film #0032274 Wills and Probate of Loudoun Co., VA. Moses DOWDELL is listed without a will but has some sort of inventory, vol 5, page 147. But my notes are not very clear, so I can check my next trip to the LDS if you like.
I'm looking for relatives of Thomas DOWDELL b:1810 + Sarah. My posts were on 8-13 & 8-18. Your Shenandoah Co is only 2 counties away from my Loudoun Co., so who knows? DOWDELL is an unusual surname.
