I would like to contact someone who knows about Frank Dowdell of Carbondale,Illinois. He was killed in Nicaragua in 1927 along with my cousin Earl Thomas. They were Marine aviators shot down by bandits. They both survived the plane crash but were captured and brutily killed by the bandits.Frank Dowdell was a sergeant.I have newspaper articles with extensive coverage. My cousin was posthumously awarded the Medal of Merit and an airfield was named after him in Nicaragua. If someone is related to Frank, I would like to share information. Thank you,Lois
