NATHAN,
It would be easier to answer a question if all the pieces were lined up in order.I think that we "have talked" before but the
correspondence keeps jumping around as the
paper copies keep multiplying.
I've been out of it for a while, following the fairy tale of the 2000 election.I'm
trying to come back into the real world of
genealogy.(Look at # 964 and you'll find
me).
My ggf, James Annias Dowell was born in IL
in 1834.He married Louisa Jane Rector in
1860 in Platte Co. Mo. They seemed to live
on both side of the MO/KS border, because
when James served in the Civil War, it was
as a KS resident.
You said that you had "all of your William
Dowell's brothers and sisters and his parents, grand parents and great grandparents,
IF I'M INTERESTED.
I can't believe I did not answer before this,
but as I indicated I have been in the never-
never land of national politics.I would like to see what you have.
I will look further for the partial copies of
Civil War Papers, that I received from a granddaughter of William Hickman, oldest son
of James and Louisa, and older brother of my
grandmother, Clara Jane Dowell.
It's interesting that you are in MO.What's your line.
