Thank you so much for the help!We are going to the local Family Search group on Tuesday to try and brainstorm about how to get more info on this John Dozier. We only have the marriage information, which had his birth year on it... I found a possible match on the 1880 census when he would have been 3 years old (through process of elimination I could rule out all the other John Doziers who were born that year and appeared in the 1880 census), but besides that everything appears to be a dead end.I am way out of my league, so I appreciate the help enormously! Thanks for the info on my great-grandmother, too... we have her fairly well documented with lots of great pictures. She was only married to my great-grandfather less than two years before he died, and she never spoke of it... he died at age 31 out in Little Rock, Arkansas, following some strange events (such as all his money burning up in a local mercantile). He was said to be a speculator for a living.Hmmm.I bet there is an interesting story there if we could only uncover it!THANKS for your help.
