Is your grandfather living? You can ask him his parents names. If he is deceased write for his death certificate and it should have his parents names.
Take a trip to the local library in Valdosta and look at the
City directories for the name DRAFFIN and see what draffins were there.
Oscar Roy DRAFFIN is buried in Sunset HILL Cemetery in VAldosta, GA He was born 09 April 1881 in GA. d. 11 May 1950 in GA. Oscar Roy DRAFFIN was son of Julius S. DRAFFIN.
Sallie DRAFFIN x-wife wife of Benjamin DRAFFIN was living in Valdosta, GA in 1880 with her son Joseph DRAFFIN and daughter Nancy Louise DRAFFIN. Benjamin DRAFFIN and Sally DRAFFIN were devorced. William W. DRAFFIN b. 1836 Union Co., NC. was in Valdosta working as a labor in 1880. William W. DRAFFIN was a brother of Benjamin DRAFFIN and Julius S. DRAFFIN.
My email address is if you want more info or advise on how to research.
