I'm a volunteer for the Dragoo Family Association (DFA). See our website at http://www.dragoofamilyassociation.comhttp://www.dragoofamilyassociation.com
You are part of a very impressive Dragoo line with ancestors who served in the Texas Rangers.
TEXAS MARRIAGE RECORDS
From the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT, and their new online beta project. Some images are digitized, but these two Dragoo sisters only have transcribed information. Minerva's surname is spelled with two GG's.That's unusual for the Texas line.Eliza Jane's name was abbreviated and then misspelled in the transcription.

This is E. J./Eliza or Elizabeth Jane Dragoo]
Marriage Date: 08 Dec 1880
Marriage Place: Bell Co., Texas
FATHER:Joseph R. DRAGOO (1823-1868)
MOTHER OF THESE TWO GIRLS
There is a mystery about their mother.Their father was believed to have married twice; first to Louisa Cook or Cootes and then to Eliza or Elizabeth Cootes. (They may be the same person.)
The Family History Library online records show Joseph R. Dragoo to Louisa Cootes, 16 July 1846, Red River Co., TX.There is no image, only a transcription.
I have much more info on these two families.
