Draine Family Genealogy Forum
I am not a member of the family, just entering information. In the booklet "The Land Records of Prince George's County, Maryland - 1702-1709" by Elise Greenup Jourdan is the following information on Anthony Draine/Drayne:
"Folio 114, 12 year lease, 4 Nov 1703; From: Anthony Draine, planter of Prince George's County. To: Richard Pile of Prince George's County, Churgion. For 'natural love, good will, and affection' and 'other good causes and considerations' give a 9 acre tract of land in Prince George's County, part of a trct called 'Something;' bounded by 'Brooke Hall;' for rent of one sound ear of Indian corn at time of Nativity. signed: Anthony Draine. Witnessed: Hugh Ryley, Mary Spell, and Thomas Rasberry (mark)."
There are a couple of other mentions of this man but just as a signer of documents.
