I don't know the history of Draughn's Business College; however, my grandmother was a graduate from Draughn's in Abilene, Texas. This was in the late 1910's or very early 1920's. With this diploma in hand she became a teacher in Shackelford Co., Tx. before marrying my grandfather.

I lived in Anson, Texas (just 21 mi. north of Abilene) in the 1950's and I know that Draughn's was still in existance at that time.

This may not be of any help to you, but thought it might give you a starting point. Maybe the Public Library or C of C in Abilene, Tx. could give you a place to search?

Good luck!
