One of the documents at the Trumbull County Public Library, Ohio says that Edward DRAY claimed he was from County Antrim, Ireland. I have seen the DRAY name in Irish genealogy and English Genealogy. Another document in the same file at the Trumbull library pertains to some of Edward's descendents (the ones who changed their name to DRAKE) attempting to prove that they were descended from the family of Sir Francis DRAKE and were entitled to a portion of his fortunes, however, there is no follow-up to that attempt at Trumbull.
