About the Sir Francis Drake thing: The family actually formed a committee at one time trying to prove their relationship. However, this was abandoned because they couldn't find proof.
I have not seen the document that says Edward Dray claimed he was from Antrim Co., Ireland. This is what my family always said! Do you live near that library? If so, could you get me a copy of that document? I will be happy to reimburse you for any costs. If you don't live there, what should I request when I write to the library?
Thanks!
Toni
