I have found a Charles J Dray born @ 1853 b Ohio married to a Callie b 1858 Iowa in the 1880 Van Buren County, Iowa Census. Two children were shown on this census and they were Maudie b 1879 and Claude b1880. There were probably other children born later. Is this your family? If so you are probably related in some way to William Dray b 1800 in Pa. ( His father was a Charles too, by the way) He may have been a grandfather or an Uncle. His family was in Trumbull, Jefferson, and Columbiana Co.'s in Ohio (I may be forgetting a county, and Pa.) Some then went to Iowa and then a few Missouri. I have not searched this Census Charles J. to see which Dray he connects too. I do know he is related to me in someway. Hope you find your answers.
