Thanks so much for your note - but it doens't seem to be the same family line. (I don't think !)

The info I do have some confidence in - C.J. had 4 children in 1990 census and was living in Linn County, Missouri. The 4 children were Fred b.Aug 1883, Earl b. Dec.1885, George b.Oct.87, and my gfather Robert Guy b.Dec 1888. That census definitely shows C.J. being born in Feb. 1854.

I also know C.J had two wifes - Emily and Carmeletha. I think Emily was the mother of the 4 children.

I really appreciate your note and if I continue to run into dead ends, will try the route your information suggests.
