My Grandmother was Bertha May Dray, the story in our family was that Frances Drake was our 42 great uncle. I did read somewhere that some scam artists in the early 1900s went around promising that you could inherit his fortune in England,if you could prove your desent. Our branch of the family fell for it. Their desent was also to have come from Edward Dray/Drake.We may come from his line,but I don't buy the Frances Drake story
