Thanks for the information. My gg grandfather Thomas Nelson Dray lived in Jefferson County Ohio, but claimed not to know the identity of his parents. His wife was not Sarah Dugan, however. He later (in the early 20th century, changed the spelling of his name to Draa). So we may be talking about two different Thomas Drays. My records show that Charles Dray and Elizabeth Mc Crady were married in 1854, though, not 1848.....
