Just to keep you updated there is 1837.com which is the indexing in London on the internet. This is scanned copies of the pages of all birth marriages and deaths indexing 1837- present day. To view each page costs .10p. To start you have to buy credits min 5.00 which will give you 50 credits. There are 4 quarters for each year (Jan-Mar etc) and for each of the Births, Marriages and deaths. All are in alperbetical order. So to check each year Jan-Mar, Apr-June, July-Sept and Oct-Dec could cost .40p min or more if there's more than one page per quarter to check. You can also print off an order form and order by post cost per certificate 8.50, I think there are other ways but have not tried them.

If you want any more information please get in touch.

Irene
