Tracing Drennans in Northern Ireland
Posted by: Stephen Drennan (ID *****9806) Date: April 10, 2005 at 04:27:51

I am interested in information on Drennans in Northern Ireland.

My family are from the Whiteabbey/Carnmoney/Jordanstown area near Belfast.

My Grandfather was George Drennan b 28/9/1898 in Whiteabbey
His father, also George Drennan b 9 July 1865
His father James Drennan b 1838.
(I also have dates for many of my grandfather's brothers and sisters and some of their offspring)

The only other Northern Irish Drennans I have found information for on the web were the family of Dr William Drennan (as in the United Irishmen and the phrase the 'Emerald Isle')

Best Rgds
