You've probably never heard of my bunch, but, here goes, anyway:

My 7-great grandfather apparently came from SC. He was a David Drennan, and was married to a woman named Ruth (?).
Apparently, David & his family ended up in Amite County, Mississippi, where I believe he died in 1811. His daughter was a Mary Drennan, who married an Isham Strange, who was born in 1755.
