Hi Wade, we've discussed this before, and I don't have anything new. If I go by my grandfather's records, My David who died 1842 was married to someone with the last name of Miller, and the names you have for his children is correct (except Hinson is really Henderson) I know my David had those children, but I don't know if mine is the same David who married Mary/Sarah Robinson. I don't know what year my David was born, but according to my grandfather, David (d. 1842) was the youngest son of David and ? (Lawery)Drennan. I know there is the story on the internet about the 3 brothers coming over from Scotland or Ireland. My grandfather said Scotland, but he also said their name was O'Drennan, and I think that would make them Irish. He said 3 brothers came over, but John and William wwent back after a year and David (who was married to ? Lawery, stayed. What history do you have about when your John came over? I know the information I have for John is wrong, because Ishow him marrying Delphan Lovin Arnold in 1803, and all of their children born before 1787, including the David who married Mary Robinson (1774). Maybe you can straighten me out. I know I have not spent enough time researching this line, and if I go to Rootsweb I may be able to find it myself. Thanks for any enlightenment you can give.
