The Hinson Drennan you found is my gr-gr-grandfather Charles M. Drennan's brother. His real name was Henderson, but he went by "Hense." so many have thought his name was Hinson. He married Hester Miller March 31, 1844, in Madison Co., Illinois. His brother Charles m. (my gr-gr-grandfather) was a gospel minister in Missouri and probably Illinois before that. I don't know about Henderson, but his son Hampton was a preacher. Henderson and Charles had a brother who was a carpenter, and another brother who was a wagon-maker, so they weren't all preachers! I have a little bit more infoif you want it.
