How far back have you traced your ancestors?

I am one of many Drennan's who's ancestors came from what is believed the Belfast or County Antrim area and am having dificulty locating info on the parents of Hugh Drennan, Thomas Drennan, William Drennan, and John Drennan who came here sometime around 1772. I beleive there to be a connection to Dr. William Drennan, son of Reverand Thomas Drennan, minister of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Belfast. Unfortunately there is very little on the siblings of William's father.

Know that many of us are looking for that elusive ancestor that links these 4 brothers to their relatives in Ireland. Any assistance would be greatfully appreciated.
