I have recently began the gen thing. However, I have found Drannan's who lived in Vine, Wilson Cty, TN, then two of them moved to Springfield MO.

The younger Drennan, Nathaniel Louis's mother, Jane Thorn, was a Cherokee

There were seven sons as Nathaniel was the 7th son of a 7th son and it is believed his father at an early age was a dispatcher during the Civil War
