Hi Clifton, James is my ggg Grandfather's younger brother. His tombstone at Fishing Creek reads "James Drennan, Esquire. Born May 10, 1795. Died 3-31-1855". He married Mary Ann Boyd on January 26, 1825 at Fishing Creek Prebyterian church. She is buried in Union ARP church cemetery, Richburg, Chester Co, SC. Born 9-12-1807, Died 5-23-1866. Mary Ann was highly educated for a female in those days, as she graduated from the Female Academy in Winston Salem, NC.
James is the youngest child of Hugh Drennan & Mary Anthony, both buried beside James at Fishing Creek. The census of 1800 shows Hugh having a 5 year old male in his household. Hugh died 3-12-1802, and is my brickwall going backwards.
