My name is Susan Elizabeth Halliday my date of birth is 11th January 1953. I was adopted in 1953 and sometime ago traced my birth mother. Her name was Annie Lyons she was reluctant to tell me above my natural father until 3 weeks before she died. The information she gave me was that his name was John Drennan and his family came from Belfast. He had a brother (who I have a photo of) she told me he may have gone to Canada. I now know John Drennans family tried to adopt me and John send money to Ann for her and me to follow him. But for her own reasons she decided against it. I am sure you can understand how thrilled I would be if I could trace some of my fathers family. I have no wish to upset anybody but I would like to know who I am. Any information you think may be helpful I would be truly grateful. Thank you. Sue
