Kimmy, I just got your message; this is my direct line. but you will have to bear with me, we are leaving for Vacation to Myrtle Beach and won't be home till the 20th. I would love to exchange what I have with you. One thing I can say is I have been told by my family that there is Cherokee in our line. I can not find it any where; other than if you look at the men they have that thick dark skin and tall. The last I have that got me to the closest was my great uncle darius drennen, he lived in Clendenin; who also said the town of drennen was named after our family. Again a puzzle, I have not been able to connect. My feelings are that this may be true but there may have been some seperation of family there and that's what makes the connection hard. I have a (metal) picture of my great great grandpa James Drennen, the only picture any of us have come up with. With the names you have it is for sure the same line. I will get back with you after vacation to share what I have. We may have to do it by snail mail; my computer has so much on it and I am unable to take in very large message with attatchments. Here is my e-mail [email protected] home address

If you would like please send me what you have and I will send you what I have. I have been stuck at this point for a couple years. I hope this is the connection we need.
Thank you for searching, Donna :-)
