Samuel Drenning, also spelled Drennen, married Ann Baxter sometime before 1762 in Bedford County, PA. They had three children, William b. Nov. 30, 1762, Jane b. 1768, and Catherine b. January 25, 1769. He was a Captain in the Revolutionary War. Catherine married John McCormick, the inventor of the reaper. William married Mary Friend and Jane married Thomas Rose.
