Walter Drennon Descendant Needed for DNA Test
Posted by: Kenneth Drennen (ID *****5424) Date: October 22, 2009 at 11:30:10

Wanted: male Drennen descendant of Walter Drennen willing to take a Family Tree DNA test to prove the line.

There is a Drennon DNA project established at Family Tree DNA that has 3 different lines defined. Two of us match 37 out of 37 markers making us an exact match. One person is from the John Drennan b. 1740 line that came from Ireland to PA to SC and spread west through TN, TX, asnd OK. The other is from William Drennen b. 1739 whose line goes from Ireland to PA to Illinois.

We believe that Walter Drennen is part of theses lines. DNA testing would prove it.

Anyone interested in doing the test, which is a simple mouth swab, can contact me at for information on how to join the Drennon DNA Project the includes all Drennens, no matter how you spell it.
